It seems a little discouraging that the town needed to hire a consultant to tell them that they have a seasonal economy. I’ll bet most residents already understood that.

John Kelly's point about seasonality being your relief valve really landed. "Thank God it's over, for now" isn't a problem to solve. It's your community exhaling. Managing tourism doesn't mean eliminating that break.
