FYI: West Street Detour Notice
From the Bar Harbor Town Office
According to the Bar Harbor Town Office,
“Traffic on West Street is being rerouted due to ongoing subsurface geotechnical investigation work taking place in the roadway near the Eddie Brook guzzle. This work is being conducted to further the design of the West Street gateway projects. The detour will be in place between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for the next several days.
“Eastbound traffic from Route 3 onto West Street is detoured to Cottage Street and Holland Avenue. Westbound traffic between Main Street and Route 3 will be traveling through the work zone and caution is advised. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
