BELT SANDER RACES
BAR HARBOR—Join Atlantic Brewing Company & Mainely Meat BBQ October 13, for the annual Belt Sander Races! This year’s theme is Medieval times
Belt Sander Races are a friendly but fierce competition in which decorated belt sanders are raced down two tracks in a double elimination bracket. The winners receive prizes, glory, and bragging rights.
The Tasting Room and Mainely Meat BBQ are open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Live music from Pat’s Jam Band 12-3 p.m.
Races begin at 3 p.m.
This is an outdoor event, rain or shine
Anyone can enter the races! Sign up for the races day of. Decorated sanders should be to the starting line by 2:50.
The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center and the Muir Fund for Cancer Support are the beneficiaries of this competition.
