I made a mistake
Everyone who reads this.
I am so sorry. I’ve been cutting and pasting each council candidate to put on a separate section on the webpage. That is here.
During this, I failed to un-click (or unselect) one of TWO boxes that allows me to only publish on the web and not have things come into your email and Val Peacock’s section came to your inbox instead of just being here on the web.
Sadly, this platform doesn’t have an UNSEND function, and as you know by now, I am very human and don’t have an astonishing team of people behind me to make sure that I don’t make mistakes.
The Bar Harbor Story is really about me trying to get impartial information out there for free. It’s not my big job. I take a loss when it comes to earnings per hour every single time I attend a meeting or make a post. And this sort of mistake? Agh. It breaks my heart. I am so sorry.

Don't beat yourself up. Val is an awesome human (as are you!) and I likely wouldn't have read her profile (since I don't vote in Bar Harbor) if it had not landed in my inbox. I'm happy to have learned a few new things about Val and (especially as a school board member) appreciate her perspective on the Bar Harbor school project.
