GOLDEN APPLE AWARD NOMINATIONS SOUGHT
MOUNT DESERT ISLAND—The Bar Harbor (MDI) Rotary Club is accepting nominations for its annual Golden Apple Award, which honors one exceptional educator in the Mount Desert Island region with a $1,000 honorarium and well-deserved recognition for their impact and dedication.
This is a great opportunity to recognize a deserving teacher, and nominations are open to community members, colleagues, and administrators.
The deadline is May 24, 2025, and the nomination form can be filled out HERE.
According to its website, “In recognition of the importance of local teachers, the club recognizes a teacher in the community with our annual MDI Rotary Golden Apple Award. Nominees for the award are chosen based on special criteria, which reflect the principles of Rotary, including high ethical standards and service to the community. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium for continuing education.”
