MOUNT DESERT ISLAND—A recent article by Bangor Daily News’ Leela Stockley lists the six most expensive properties in Maine. Only two weren’t on Mount Desert Island. Only one wasn’t in Hancock County, and that one, an $8,850,000 16-room home in Kennebunkport, came in at number six.
Articles in papers often list the most expensive homes for sale in an area, but they often don’t list the least expensive ones. As of Friday morning, May 31, there are currently 55 homes listed for sale on Mount Desert Island on Zillow.
Below are the three most and four least expensive homes on Mount Desert Island.
LEAST EXPENSIVE HOMES
The four least expensive homes on Mount Desert Island that are currently listed on Zillow are all in Bar Harbor. On the site, there are currently 43 homes for sale on Mount Desert Island ranging in price from $299,900 to $11,900,00.
