BAR HARBOR—Join Hermann Haller, M.D., President of MDI Biological Laboratory, scientist and passionate art historian, for a fascinating exploration of one of the most iconic paintings of the Enlightenment.

Blending art, science and history, he will examine Lavoisier’s groundbreaking work in chemistry, the political and social forces of the French Revolution, and how these threads come together in a single powerful image.
