There's a right and wrong way to enter the Hannaford parking lot?

In referenced to the Higgin's Pit solar money. This money should be used to help lower the property taxes: Not some feel good crap to lower carbon emissions. I for one am now TAXED way beyond my ability to pay. My family have been in this town going back into the 1800's. I reside in the family home.

How this town can do this to us with a straight face I'll never understand. Maybe it is about time to sell my family home, to hell with my children and grandchildren who wish to live and retire here, and sell out to some property management company in New York and they can rent it out for $30000 to $50000 a week and take the money out of state. It is not VACATIONLAND when the poor, disabled, elderly are forced to sell their lifelong home.

Because it's not legal for us to use the money for something substantially different from its intended purpose.

Mr. Hochman,

Mr. Peters' comment is directly to ontended purpose. Can the Town Council ensure that the substitute projects, by improving energy efficiency, will save us taxpayers money? We're all feeling a little shell shocked these days. My prop tax bill increased more than 28% this year! How can we get this under control?

Mine did as well, I'll ask If you voted for the school bond, because that was the big driver of the tax increase this year, as we made extremely clear during it's vetting process, no I cannot ensure there will be tax savings, but I can assure you that it will be used to attempt energy efficiency, which should save money, it will not be used for "feel good crap" but it cannot be used directly to reduce taxes, as that was not it's intended purpose.
