BAR HARBOR—Shortly after 5 p.m., a vehicle crashed into Paradis Ace Hardware Store at 31 Holland Ave. The police quickly closed Holland Avenue from Cottage Street to Mount Desert Street to traffic. The car was completely inside the building and had gone through the right of the doorway, pushing out the frame and damaging the side of the building. The owner on record is 108 Cottage Streets LLC.
I think everyone is mostly okay. I heard that a customer was slightly injured, but I haven't been able to confirm that. They are great people there! <3
