The first convo I ever had with Laura was about face blindness, maybe 10 years ago. She was fascinated because she had never heard of such a thing before. She promised to say hi to me if she ever saw me somewhere else, because I wouldn't recognize her outside of the libary! LOL
Whenever I have visited the Jesup Laura has almost aways been the first staff member I have interacted with. Always gracious and smiling, she has been the face of the Jesup to me since Nancy Howland and Ruth Eveland left. Why not just appoint Laura as the permanent director? They could not do better.

I was lucky enough to work with Laura at the library for 20 years. She is awesome! A great choice to lead the library during this interim period.
ThankYou, Carrie.
ThankYou Laura,
You both do such good work to help keep us all well informed.
These days, especially, it is good to be reminded of the extraordinary people who step up to public service. ThankYou.
