To complicate matters, what about somebody born intersex? So much time wasted on this stuff, as if kids are transitioning to gain access to the "wrong" bathroom or to excel in a sport.

Chickens. Roosts. Friedmann can lavishly dish it out from privileged positions, but not take it from constituents.

Integrity essentially means being of one piece. It derives from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole or complete. It is defined as 'an undivided or unbroken completeness' - ie consistent throughout.

As Russell Baker of blessed memory pointed out, Ma Barker and her sons were consistent in their 'family values.' Integrity also has come to mean "honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility." Not qualities I equate with Friedmann.

Friedemann is consistent in his own testy self regard. Fortunately, so far more Moe, Larry, and Curley than the Barker gang. But give him time.
