Join us on Tuesday, March 18th at 5:30 p.m. at the Southwest Harbor Public Library to hear about the latest adventures in Southwest Harborโs fictional Grace Coffin Series. Local author Winter Fox will also speak to his writing process and his Flight of the Wren Series. The program will take place at the library with online viewing available. Registration encouraged.

BAR HARBORโEvening Music, the series of chamber-music concerts presented by the Friends of Music at St. Saviourโs, celebrates Bachโs birthday, with a concert of harpsichord music on Saturday, March 22, at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Daniel Pyle will perform the last of the โEnglishโ suites, the fifth of the set of โFrenchโ suites, and selections from the second book of the Well-Tempered Clavier.

Play with Clay at the Gilley: Bas Relief Jars
SOUTHWEST HARBORโ Join Kathie Pratt and work in clay to create a nature-themed bas relief that youโll be able to complete and take home that day on Saturday, March 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Wendell Gilley Museum. Artists create a bas-relief by sculpting onto a 2-D plane to create and accentuate figures and objects, producing a 3-D appearance. Weโll be using polymer clay and baking it off, then painting it. Then, students will be shaping the bas relief around glass jars to make a decorative container. Class size is limited. Cost is $32 for Museum members and $40 for non-members. NORTHEAST HARBORโThe Land and Garden Preserve will hold a free webinar on Wednesday, April 9 from 4-5 p.m. about the new dog leash policies on its natural lands.
New dog policies go into effect on May 1, 2025 at the preserveโs natural lands. Tate Bushell, director of natural lands, will share how the preserve concluded that a policy change was needed, and address frequently asked questions.
The webinar will be followed by a Q&A with Tate.

SOUTHWEST HARBORโConceptual photographer Jennifer Steen Booher will delve into her unique art and complex artistic process at the Wendell Gilley Museum on Tuesday, March 25 as the museumโs People-Nature-Art presenter.
Join us at this Gilley for this free and fabulous monthly event to learn more about Jenn and her incredible art. A 6 p.m. reception will be followed by a 7 p.m. program that will be simultaneously livecast on Zoom. No charge, but registration is required at www.wendellgilleymuseum.org
