We voted to pay for this land. Period. No one asked for someone else to pay for it. 650 citizens were asked to sign their name if they would lease this property to the CAT. 550 said no. 80% said no do not sign a lease with the Cat. Now we have what looks like the entrance to a prison which more than likely we will have to pay to have removed.
I personally spent over 40 hours counting the passengers and vehicles at the ferry throughout the season. From those numbers I was able to extrapolate that the total passengers back and forth this year was a mere 28,000. The worst year on record. The Canadians are silly to keep funding this.
