Another great idea if cost were no object. Unfortunately cost is an object in a state whose highways, bridges, and public buildings are falling apart and whose housing and heating costs are placing more and more citizens in the "homeless" category. Seems like every other day some new "must have" pops up on the agenda while long existing problems get shoved further and further and further back on the back burner. How about dealing with the issues already threatening to overwhelm us before looking for ever more ways to spend ourselves into higher taxes and a lower overall quality of life? In the meantime send a donation to the Maine Seacoast Mission to help them fund the wonderful support services they provide via the Sunbeam and regional community centers.
